Brassware Trends: Express your individuality with metallic finishes
When it comes to bathroom taps and showers, chrome is king. However, while chrome is still the most popular finish, there is a rise in people moving away from traditional finishes to create a more unique bathroom experience.
Recent years have seen the popularity of finishes such as Matt Black, Brushed Gold and Brushed Copper soar, but manufacturers are now taking metallics to the next level with the introduction of even more options. Finishes such as Brushed Copper are particularly popular with customers as they bring a warm, natural tone to the bathroom. As per Grohe’s Paul Bailey, “Metallic finishes are a great way of adding colour in a subtle way and will add warmth and grandeur to the space, which is important when creating a luxurious bathroom.”
Sanipex Group’s Ashley Sinclair also believes that the market for metallic brassware will remain strong in 2023 and beyond. “Individualisation has a significant hold over bathroom design and the trend for metallic brassware fits into this with ease,” he says.
